10. Loss of Appetite.
Here is the thing, if you cannot swallow or if it hurts to swallow to the point where you cannot drink water, then more than likely you will not have any appetite. For symptoms that are not quite as serious, it is common to lose your appetite even if you are able to swallow. This is a normal process the body uses in an effort to make killing of the infection more effective. Just as when you have the flu, you may not want to eat for a day or two (depending on how long you are ill) and if it goes for too long, then you will want to have your doctor check you out.
