10. Deep Breathing Techniques.
One reason why you may be having frequent, pounding headaches is due to added stress in your daily life. From work, to family, to numerous appointments, there is a good chance that you could be under stress if you have headaches brewing frequently. If this is you, consider some deep breathing and stress-reducing techniques to help alleviate your headaches. In order to effectively deep breathe to reduce headaches, start by sitting feet flat on the floor in a good posture. Take a slow deep breath through your nose and let it out even slower. Repeat this for about three to four minutes to help drain the stress away. You can do this virtually anywhere you may be and it can help keep you healthy.
