8. Asymmetric Cell Shape.
This is the first letter in the ABCDEs. Any large and darkened marks on your skin that have an asymmetrical shape, this could be an indicator of skin cancer. The asymmetry will mostly likely have some jagged edges or non-rounded corners, which is your clue that this is not a normal skin cell. If you notice a darkened cell on your skin with asymmetric borders then you should show this to your doctor as soon as possible. Time is important with the treatment of your skin cancer and if you notice any signs that are on this list, you should talk with your doctor for appropriate treatment if it is skin cancer.
