15) Other Causes Of Eye Twitching
Eye Twitching can be occasionally be caused by the following conditions:
Bell’s palsy – a condition that causes partial paralysis of one side of the face.
Mutiple sclerosis – a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system.
Dystonia – a condition that results in involuntary muscle contractions.
Blepharospasm – a neurological condition causing severe blinking.
Hemifacial spasm – a malfunction of the facial nerve on one side causing rapid muscle contractions and twitching.
Tourette’s syndrome – a hereditary condition that causes uncontrolled muscle twitching and vocal sounds called tics.
