16 Reasons to Eat Organic Foods

8. Preserve the Ecosystem Through Farming.

The ecosystem is a natural process that occurs in life. With fruits and vegetables, nutrient rich soil is used to grow these foods, with the remaining soil staying intact in the ground. When farmers gather crops, the soil from that crop remains intact and if we interfere or disturb this natural part of life then it could drastically decrease the nutrient profile of the soil. Organic foods tend to promote a better ecosystem by allowing the soil to perform its part in the system. Saving the ecosystem takes more than one farmer to make a difference, but at least if we consume organic foods we help promote a better ecosystem for future generations.
