10. Save your Flowers.
On a bright side, aspirin is a great home remedy for keeping flowers alive for much longer. Too often, flowers last only a day or two after trimming them, which can be a drag when they begin to droop. Consider extending the life of your floral arrangement in your home by mixing an aspirin tablet in the water of the cut flowers. The pH of the water tends to become acidic with the aspirin, which flowers thrive on. Mix together two to three aspirin tablets per vase and change the water ever couple of days or so for best results.
