9. Fever.

When the shingles virus decides to “wake up” in your body, there is a good chance that you could have a number of symptoms appear within a short amount of time. One common symptom of any infection you may get is a fever, which is your body’s way of fighting off a foreign invader in your body. When you experience a fever due to shingles, you may notice that your body temperature becomes elevated more than usual from a generalized illness, which should be a red flag for you.
